I'm going to London on June 15th staying 2 nights. Any ideas for a good reasonably priced hotel.

  2. UJ - although not exceptionally cheap.

Welly Bks has a welfare flat.

    AirBnB.

When i took the family we stayed at the Crowne Plaza, close to the tube and London Eye (or whatever it is called now).

WRT the Crowne Plaza, google for IHG Friends and Family - using that link we got the room for approx 90 per night which included use of the Club Lounge.

Although its probably pricier than youd like The Grosvenor Hotel next to Victoria Station is quite decent and nicely centrally located. I paid around 200 for a 3 night stay last year.

Union Jack Club excellent value for money. Its had a major refurb and is now about 3 star hotel standard.

I've stayed in the Travelodge at Tower Bridge a few times, good price for central London, tube station nearby, good pubs on the door step, can't fault it.

As it's a Travelodge, you know what the rooms will be like.
Quick job before you go lads............

Depends on the size of your wallet. Hard to beat UJC for value, considering the location. Travelodge are generally good and not as expensive as other London spots - further out from central london, the less they cost. Most are within a short walk of the tube.

  7. Going to Wembley on the Sunday to see Fleetwood Mac so want to make it as easy as possible to get back to hotel after the concert.
