    The ultimate present for the cabbage that has everything

    I'm looking for ideas for a certain Wobbling Orange I know who is soon to retire (be dragged off the station by his feet with him no doubt clawing at everything in a desperate attempt to stay)

    He is a massive cabbage and has vast amounts of 'RAF crap' like ties, blazers etc and I'm looking for that something special for him as a retirement gift..

    So far i've only come up with THIS as I'm pretty sure he hasn't got any...

    Anyone got any other ideas of gifts for that RAF-Head that has all the usual crap?

    Have look online where something is made from supplied artwork, many moons ago I bought someone a glass paper weight that had a RAF cap badge etched in and name and number round the side medal styleee.

    Leaving Gift

    A place in Sheffield made some clocks (Glass) with the RAF crest within. It is possible to have a picture of him laser engraved within the glass. Crystal Amaze is the name.

    I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking - Dorothy L Sayers (1893-1957)

  7. How about some of these. You could even trim them up with a pair of Tate & Lyles for added authenticity.

    If he's had a lifetime of free socks, he wont have any!

    One of the WOs at Colt during my time there was so cabbagy, he continued to come into work on his resettlement and terminal leave, right up to the last day when he cleared.

  9. Never seen this before and just watched the first 10mins - complete crap, but did give a chuckle, so much so i'm downloading the full 5 seasons as we speak. Also available;

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Get-Some-Co...ds=get+some+in

    Also, we get a lot of our leaving gifts from this place:

    https://www.majesticcrystal.co.uk/

    They will do bespoke pieces etc with the RAF detail on most things.

    I purchased that as an Xmas present for my Dad one year as he was a Aircraft Rigger from 68-77. He loved it.
