I donít think blaming the police is the right answer, the only people to blame are the ones who committed the abuse, blaming others is just creating a smoke screen to hide the underlying truth.

The local gov social services and criminal services are culpable in not doing their duty, both of these organisations are controlled by political appointees on a local level and national level.

I cannot believe that an issue as large as this was not discussed at senior levels, if culture was allowed as an excuse then it is at this level where organisational failure occurred.

At the end of the day there is enough proof to state that are hundreds of young kids recovering from abuse who were let down by the state, both local and national.

  2. Responsibility is devolved down, accountability is a chain that goes up. If you cannot be accountable for your own actions to the people who pay you to do a job, you are in the wrong job.

I disagree. The rank and file police are just as culpable. If you are aware that this is going on and push it up the chain to see nothing being done or being told to 'just leave it alone' you are just as much in the wrong.

The whole thing's already moot now, the story is already drifting to the back pages of the newspapers and will soon forgotten about.

    Until the next one.

I read with great interest that the authorities are definitely playing hardball with the leaders of these grooming gangs. One of them, sentenced to 22 years in prison is being released, 5 years into his sentence.

That'll show him the error of his ways. I'm certain his victims will be only too pleased to hear he didn't even serve a quarter of his sentence.

I raised my eyebrows at this so I did some digging and came across this from the secret barrister. (I follow on twitter) makes things in the legal profession clearer. Anyway this is what they say

Don't agree with it but it's the law.

Perhaps it's time to change the law. Something new for people who abuse children along the lines of having their testicles cut off with an extremely blunt knife and the word 'Paedo' tattooed onto their forehead.

Hate to say this, but maybe our political elites don't actually care over the issue of white peasants schoolgirls being sexually abused raped murdered. If over forty years the message hasn't sunken in, what makes you think even another six month another similar event happens. Maybe we peasants who live in these towns, have to face facts places like Rotherham Rochdale Oldham Telford and others that are happy to accept the world waifs and stray are just experiments for their respective political parties. Forty years or more sweeping under the carpet will continue.

Hold on, I believe I may have all of this wrong. It's not these peoples fault that they enjoy raping and abusing young girls; the police and politicians have it right. It's just their culture. I'd like to be the first to apologise for my Islamaphobic, racist bigoted comments.

Now for the mantra (repeat after me) 'Diversity is our strength, multiculturism is good, diversity is our strength'..........

    Keep on repeating, ad infinitum.

it's only a matter of time before the sh%t really hits the fan, decent folk will only take so much. The powers that be seem more concerned about making anything a hate crime. god forbid you wolf whistle at a women thats seems far more serious than the rape of children eh ? excuse my fooking sarcasm NOT
    fakir off !

  10. If you hadn't connected the new found interest of the Police and CPS in all matters deemed political sensitive with the recent appointment of PCC's, then you're missing the blindingly obvious.

The Home Office gets what the Home Office wants - and it has nothing whatsoever to do with reasonable perceptions of right and wrong or assumed rights.
