So Harrys got engaged. Do we really care Your Message Title:

One of the tabloid front page headlines this week was "Meghan does not talk to her Dad!" or some similarly worded drivel. Now I don't know the lady or her gentleman father, they do not move in my social circle and am I, for one, really interested whether the latter or his lovely daughter engage in conversatsione together? I think not.

They’ve already run out of talking points so are now scraping the bottom of the barrel. Imagine how banal it’s going to become by April next year!

Meanwhile they have announced longer pub opening hours for the wedding weekend so it's not all bad.

"Licensing hours can be extended over a "celebration period" ................ pubs and bars across England and Wales can keep serving until 1am on the morning of the wedding day, and again after the couple are married..........Hours will be extended to 1am, instead of the usual 11pm, on the nights of Friday 18 May and Saturday 19 May without pubs having to apply for an extension."

To be honest TB, I'd managed to completely forget that His Royal Gingerness was getting hitched - until you reignited this thread...

Thankfully, there's been nothing wedding-related of worth in the media for a while - in fact, there's about as much interest in the royal wedding as there is in the RAF100 (which even those in the Ivory Towers seem to have forgotten about).

RAF 100? Is that the amount of personnel still left in the RAF?

Well if the Goaters can barely contain their total indifference, me too, the Germans are just lapping it up. Yet another reason to spend more time on E-Goat or A**se.
