Ready for another war in a ****ty Middle Eastern country?

The war drums are beating again. The MSM seems to be leaping on the American bandwagon for doing ‘something’ about Iran. Oil tankers are apparently being attacked by the Iranian Navy, missiles are being fired by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels at Saudi Arabia and of course the Iranians are fomenting unrest all across Syria.

Oh dear, here we go again.

Well, Trump's term is nearly up and so far he hasn't started a war in the Middle East like most of his predescessors.....he needs to pull his finger out....

I don’t see it as Trump’s decision. Like all American Presidents he will be manipulated by the war hawks the fool has surrounded himself with. The Saudi’s will push for a conflict, they’ve hated Iran for a very long time and provided a huge amount of cash to Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war.

True, but if it does escalate he will be the one blaming Japan.......sorry, I mean, Iran, for the attacks on shipping, and threatening to loose off his massive weapons....

The MSM are showing grainy American footage of what is purported to be an Iranian Navy vessel removing an unexplored mine from the side of a tanker. Given all their technological expertise can they then not show this vessel going back to Iran? I’m sure there are satellites and drones all over the Gulf of Hormuz right at this moment recording everything. If they clearly show this vessel returning to its home port in Iran then that’s case closed, surely?

I dont understand how the act of removing a mine is an admission of planting the mine in the first place? I mean, playing Devils Advocate here, isn't it conceivable that the Iranians (assuming they are Iranians) might actually be trying to help? And has anyone asked what benefit Iran would gain from attacking shipping in international waters at this precise moment in time, especially given that US sanctions are beginning to bite?

With our help apparently. I have read that RAF Officers are embedded within the C&C centres helping to plan air strikes.

                  Totally wrong on all levels.

Could they be charged with war crimes.

I’m sure the van load of children bombed by Saudi jets would say “yes”.

No. Or they wouldn't be placed in that position. Were they there, they have no active influence in the operational outcomes. There is sufficient legal cover there to have this undergo scrutiny

Only following orders didn't work in '45.
