Ladies & Gentlemen,
Fellow Goaters,

It seems that the Air Ambulance Service, which as we all know is a charity, has to pay duties on the fuel it uses.
I urge you to consider signing this petition:-

Signed.

Although on the E-petitions search page I also saw a petition calling for Air Ambulances to be government funded.

Hell no! What an unmitigated disaster that would be. I'm glad they are independent from govt interference, like the RNLI.

If you want to feck something up, get the govt involved.

Signed, although they don't pay the same rate of fuel VAT as the rest of us.

"Reduced Rate (5%) Fuel and power used in the home and by charities,"

Also signed - there is a precedent as the Lifeboat Service is exempt.
