Yes that was quite sharpish, its been confirmed on BBC wales. Now for the search for somebody who can build a quality national coaching set up.
For the sake of Welsh rugby we have to look outside wales.
Shortlist has to be
Scott Johnson
Graham Henry
Eddie Jones
Nick Mallett
Warren Gatland
rugby then work

You can strike a couple of names off that list, Mallet and Jones have said they're not interested in the job, as has Mike Ruddock.

My money is on Lynn Howells getting it.
He was caught in the Edinburgh rugby/SRU debacle and ended up sacked as a result. So he's available and probably jump at a return to the Wales set up where he was an assistant.

Eddie Jones, Nick Mallett and Mike Ruddock have ruled themselves out of the running. There's even talk of Kevin Bowring being interested DOH ! I wouldn't like to see him back in charge.

That was quick, he said this morning in the Daily Express he was interested, make yer mind up!
Who ever takes it on must be from outside Wales even the UK. They have to be outside of the politics that has screwed welsh rugby up for so much of the last 20 years.

True, but what do you expect from a country where all the professional rugby is played along a narrow strip of land adjacent to the M4? When rugby went "professional" the WRU had the chance to bring rugby to all of Wales, they failed, they could have established a team up in North Wales and they bottled it.
The Llanelli Scarlets took on resposibility for North Wales and said they would play so many of their games in Wrexham, they did, for 2 seasons and for the last 2 seasons they have played the grand sum of......... fook all, cnuts.
Wales would have a greater number of players to choose from if the suits in the WRU established a team in North Wales or at least looked at developing talent in North Wales, yes it would take a few years, but sadly they won't, why? 'Cos all the suits in the WRU are South Walien.
