This is not very patriotic....even if your local club hasn't fielded many players for the national squad...

Can I suggest a modicum of tar and a tadette of feathers for the traitorous barsterward...

You might as well go live in Wales...the painless and endless suicide...

Has Sackey and Farrell rubbed you up the wrong way??

Tashy Man. We will lose against the Aussies..... Wales will do no better....

Farrel and Sackey are one trick ponies, anyone can run in a straight line and score..... As for BA....time for the knackers yard, just like alot of that squad. Not unpatriotic, just fcuked off with the old boy network at play, rather than the form players getting selected.

Sackey got a couple of fluke tries that he would not have had a sniff at against decent oppostion and his defence still sucks.

that said England just about deserved the win and there was some good stff in their performance. Back row were ok, half backs were ok and for once we looked like we knew what to do at a lineout.

Unfortunately the way. The only good thing to happen this week will be that "Club v Country" arguement on RFU payments and international time off from clubs, looks like it has been sorted at last.

I actually think that England just played their best game of the world cup so far, the forwards dominated the opposition, something SA failed to do against the same Tongan side, and the backs actually tried to use the ball they were given, again not bad concidering Wilko and Barff boy Barkley had bad games (ok, except Wilkos cross field kick for the Sackey score). Lets not forget that Tonga beat Samoa and were very unlucky to lose out to a full strength SA team on the luck of the bounce with 79 minutes gone and only trailing by 5pts.

This may all be an alchoholic daze on my behalf as I have just drunk the best part of a bottle of grouse in anticipation of an early exit for England.

Just watched the game again (sky+ has it's benefits) there were several players who had there best games for a while, Barkley had his poorest and just cannot seem to transfer his talents to the international stage, Wilkinson had a mediocre game from the spot, but his vision and awareness, especially in defence are starting to return, he still reads a game better than anyone else in a white top. Lewis Moody was once again immense, for all his failings there is no braver player on any pitch, that in itself gives other team members the x-factor. Sheridan is at long last showing glimpses of what he should be doing, Chuter was solid and combative, Stevens was powerful and went looking for work. Borthwick was workmanlike and without Grewcock to stir him up his penalty count was low, personally thought Kay was a bit quiet.Corry as always led from the front with body and soul. Easter again solid under the restart maybe lacked a bit of something in the loose. Gomersall had a decent sniping game, got involved with the Tongan scrum and wound them up. I'll confess to be a Cueto fan and I was a bit dissapointed last night. I'm a huge Tait fan and believe he's the future, showed what he can do in broken play when given the chance. Not a Sackey fan, too many defensive failings, but in all fairness he took his chances well. Lewsey did well, no panics a good dependable full back.
None of the replacements had much time to overly impress, as for Farrell, one try does not justify his inclusion, the fact that he obviously is a hugely popular member of the squad means nowt, he's left it to late to become a star rugby union international.
All in all not a bad showing but it was against a side that had all ready had it's tournament and being totally honest weren't ever going to provide a huge danger. Still going out next week :PDT_Xtremez_21:
