£5million will buy;

555'555.5 9mm rounds
357'142.8 5.56mm rounds
3,333.3 Kevlar helmets
2,127.5 Enhanced Body Armour sets
263.1 Privates in the armies’ wages for a year
29.8 Armoured Land rovers

How much fuel could it buy for the Harriers?? or helecopters??

Now add that ‘’insignificant’’ cut to the fact that the TA are more committed now than at anytime in their history since 1946, with a lot of their lads and lasses fighting in eye-rack and the STAN.

Imagine how you would feel, sitting in a forward position, conserving ammo. Only potable water is in bottles. Foods in ration packs. Rounds coming in, having to lay down suppressive fire;
And your 5.56mm runs out?!?
