A HIGH SCHOOL student in Fort Bend, in the US, was arrested after his parents found out that he had designed a Counterstrike level based on his local school.

I'm sorry if I've got the concept of this story wrong, but aren't a lot of violent video games based on real locations? OK, so this may have a different meaning in the light of the recent events in Virginia, but are we saying that only fictional locations should EVER be used in video games?

He created the map before the virginia shootings. I dont think they should be surprised that a kid would make a map of an environment in which they spend a significant amount of time in; talk about over reacting.

I made a crude map of my units roads on Project Gotham Racing 3 this weekend. Am a bit worried I may have my car banned from camp if the feds find out.
