Does anyone play / heard of Americas Army..?

Was bored over the weekend so started to look at what 'free' downloadable games are out there and came across Americas Army. Graphics look quite good and have heard a few conflicting reports about it.

Anyone gots any views about this game before I spend ages downloading it.. (2.4GB on 512kb B/B)

On the plus side, I can definitely recommend Shot Online for any Golfers out there... Cracking game

I did play this a lot when it was first released (going back a few years now) and for free it was a very polished first person shooter. I can't remember it being so large a download but i might have to download it again to see if any major improvements have been made....

Apparently, its now upto version 2.81 if that helps

Obviously you must be in a position to not care about your poor injured wife when you do download it! The main pc will be in constant use and your 12 year old son will highjack the laptop to play (despite having his own, perfectly servicable pc) so she can't even go on the Goat for a gossip/rant!

Plus... according to said son, you will be cr*p as you are all too old to play properly!

I love it really as it gives me some peace... so long as the eldest plays on his own pc!

and since when did you graft....... I know chatting to Tashy is hard at times but graft...?

Well I'm a bit less game geeky owing to the fact I have no mic now, but I can host Ventrillo/TeamSpeak RC2 for anyone wanting to blast some......

I got the AA setup somewhere on me backup disk, prolly well out of date, but I'll fire it up see how it goes ::D:
