Should Gibraltar stay British?

With all the talk of the Falklands in the news and the fact that Britain went to war on the principle that the Islanders wanted to stay British, I wonder what the current government pitch is regarding Gib.
When last in the news, it appeared that the government were bending over backwards for the Spanish even though 98% of the populace wanted to stay British.

When I was in Gib last year, we went over to a place called Ceuta which is a Spanish enclave in the middle of Morrocco, which is still claimed as Morroccan soil. Funny how they never bang on about that, eh?
