You may be correct in saying that it isnt carbon neutral, but believe it or not it is reusable for example

the cover (back and front) can be turned into rather attractive coasters to avoid getting coffee all over your desk

if you take out the pages carefully they make perfectly weighted paper airplanes (surely that covers airpower as well so force development)

take it with you next time you go camping it has 3 uses
when its p****ng down you can read it to make you laugh at the inane c**p that its full off
run out of bog paper it may be scratchy but will do in a pinch
mosquito swatter it will give the little bu**ers a headache
