The Law Lords have ruled, calling somebody a bloody foreigner and telling them to go back to your own country can amount to racist behaviour!.

Lawyers for a Hampshire man convicted of racially aggravated public disorder had argued that " mere xenophobia" did not amount to hostility to a racial group.

The House of Lords held that the legal defintion of " Racial group " went beyond colour,race or ethnic origin to include nationality,citizenship and national origin.

Mate, don't even joke about it! I hit me thumb with a hammer a couple of months ago and let out the old " epithet" and hopped about a bit only for my missus who'd been on some equal opportunities sh!t at work to tell me that if I carried on like that I'd end up in jail! You have. AND the law states that the offence does not have to be directed at you or someone in particular. You can (as a someone) take offence if you hear someone referring to someone else as someone that takes it in a way that someone would not or if that someone was not quite the same as someone’s self. In short someone does not have to be specifically someone’s target to get compensation from the said someone making comments about someone.

And suppose on a walk home from town one night you come across a person lying in the street who has been stabbed and is leaking fluid. After PM Gordo announced that foreign criminals will be deported after serviing their sentence (why bother?), it now seems that they'll only be shipped out if the total prison time is in excess of 12 months.
