Anyone Into Ice Hockey?

Went to wach Manchester Pheonix against Basingstoke Bisons on Sunday and had a great time even if Pheonix did lose. Does anyone else support a team in the Elite League?

there are also reme stallions and army braves also in the south

for the navy they have the destoyers, not sure where they play

there are a number off x league players in the raf and army that still play a high level game in the semi pro leagues and rec leagues

Not my sport, but on the RAF Marham forum there was a LAC in PMSG trying to set up a Marham team (or one made up from people from nearby camps) and play their games at Peterborough. Don't know how far he's got with it though.

Ice hockey in the RAF is played at mixed sex, non contact, recreational levels. All the teams welcome players of any abilities, and while it is still not officially an RAF recognised sport, we are in the process of setting up an association and getting recognition.
