Fellow Goaters / Goatees,
I am after a DECENT life insurance policy that obviously covers the useful things like 'War / Terrorism Risks'. I know that there a loads of them out there, have spent the last few weeks reading through many a brochure but I am after personal recomendations if poss.
Ideas ladies & Gents..?
Are you after a payout at the end of it or just after term insurance (think it's called that). Pax Plus is good for Service personnel and will cover you 24/7 on and off duty for all risks inc war/terrorist acts. Think there is a certain period you have to be a subscriber to it before they will cover you for the risks of OOA though.

Not too worried about a payout at the end of the term, although that would be nice. Just after something that would provide sufficently for Mrs MITV and the Vanettes should anything happen to me.
Pax Plus covers you for personal accident and there is the option to add life insurance for an additional premium. Personal accident includes everything that gives you a disability, temporary (bone break) to permanent (loss of finger/toe and upwards). The Life Insurance will pay out on death. As I said, all activities covered 24/7. It's a unit based insurance policy as well, you can take out the minimum amount for minimum payout or pay more on an ascending scale dependant on the amount of cover you want. Go have a word with the scribblies in PSF or HR or whatever the fcuk they call themselves these days.
PS. And overall, it's very reasonable.
