Does any one out there know who to contact to get caduceus Embroidered through rank slides?
I’m aware this is self funded, but can’t find any other details.
Any help appreciated.

The Airforce doesn’t think it necessary to be able to distinguish between trades at a glance.

Anyway, any ideas?

My idea would be to tell them to ram it !! If they don't provide it you obviously don't need to wear them !

Sorry my bad. I should have stated embroidered caduceus, they do supply us with a set of the ones you found, but aircrew get funny if you loose one on board, and they stab your shoulder! (Also don’t agree with the washing machine!)

I have amended my question to include the word embroidered. Thanks, and sorry again, I have had a stern word with myself about the PPPlaning.

Most camps have the intranet these days...Why not stick an advert on the sales and wants board for a few of the larger camps for your rank tabs? Someones bound to be leaving and may even give them to you...If you trust me to do it I'll shove it on ours here in London if you like...Always at the end of a PM...:PDT_Xtremez_14:

Thanks for the site, I have saved the address. However the caduceus isn’t exactly right. (The best i've got at the moment though I am grateful)

I'm still looking for anyone who has purchased a set, and has the contact details for the company.

I believe Snaiths used to supply the embroidered slides, give them a call they are at Cranwell and other sites around uk.

Note however you may find that wear of the caduceus is no longer authorised other than on the No1 uniform. See following extract courtesy of AP1358

Do you mean the rank slides with the embroidered motif in gold in the centre?

If so, I've just been told that stores can order them for you sister. They cost a couple of pounds per set.

If you have any trouble with your own clothing stores, PM me and our clothing stores will be happy to order them for you.


Edited to say: One of our medics definately has a set and she wears hers without any aggro.
