The Sunday Times headlines today have 'exclusive news' that Israel are planning pre-emptive nuclear strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities...
...no sh1t Sherlock.
I think my mum's cat could have worked that one out, without having any 'insider intelligence'.
If they do, it will be the 1st atomic weapon(s) used in anger since WWII.
Think there will be any repercussions?
Maybe time to get that CCS book out and gen up on NBC?

Don't think it'll be nukes but I reckon the yids will go all guns blazing and try to scare the bejeezus out of the rest of the middle east, could be a bit of a worrying time coming up.

Will the Israelis want to go military again so soon after the debacle with Hezbola? The arabs tails will be up and they think they will have a decent chance.
Conversely, the military may need to prove themselves again that same debacle.

The ones to watch here may be the Saudis and not the Isrealis.
It is beleived that the Saudis have long range Chinese Missiles and have long been sponsoring the Pakistan Nuclear Weapons program on the understanding that if they wanted a couple they could have them.

USA won't be bothered so who else will? They were not bothered in 81. Iran will only retal via Hezbola any way.

Fully agree with that, and I expect they'll get help from Uncle Spam as the Yids will be their proxy yet again. The Saudi's will make noises but in reality turn a blind eye as I think they do not want a nuclear-armed Iran.
The first country to use nukes since WW2 is going to become a pariah in the world very, very quickly and will probably unite the whole world against them, which considering Israel's geographical position is the last thing they'd want.

The yids have not got a hope in hell of doing any kind of attack with LGB's on Iran for the simple fact their aircraft don't have the range to do an attack without p!ssing off some major player in the area and taking heavy losses. In the Iraq attack in 81, the target was right on the maximum range of an F-16 without AAR and they had nobody to the east that had a peace treaty with them. Iran, much more distance. Cannot fly over Jordan, as they have a peace treaty. To the Northwest, yes they can fly over Syria and most likely overwhelm their air defences, however they would need massive tanker support operating over enemy territory, Not advisable. Also how do they get past the next country, which happens to be controlled by the spams and us. Cannot go north of Iraq because of Turkey. Southern option, fighting Saudi F15's under AWACS control wound be a bit bloody to put it mildly. Only real option would be to do something like the US attack on Libya, fly down the Red Sea and around Saudi and Oman. Massive tanker support needed (which the Yids don't have) and everybody can see what they are up to for ages before they reach Iran. Conventional long-range missile would work, however nobody has made one of those that is as spot on as a LGB at hitting a point on the earth's surface yet.
Being US's proxy might just get them some support methinks...
Can't find an online link, but the Times says...
1. Israeli electronic warfare a/c jam Iranian and Syrian air defences. They fly 1000miles with F-15l and F-16l armed with conventional and tactical nuclear weapons to 3 designated sites.
2. Nuclear warheads would only be used at 1 site, Natanz, which is buried deep in a bunker.
3. Conventional, laser guided bomb would be released from 20miles to blow a tunnel in the bunker 70ft deep.
4. Jet then releases a low yield 1 kiloton nuke into tunnel. (They argue that the fallout would be contained as long as it explodes in the tunnel??)
There are lovely drawings of the whole process too.
Apparently the Hiroshima bomb was 15 kiloton compared to this 1 kiloton....but a nuke is a nuke is a nuke, is it not? I don't think its the size but the ramifications and the statement it says.

I remember reading in the papers a while ago that the US are supplying Israel with fighter bombers with larger fuel tanks which coincidently have the range to hit tehran.
This might be bull but it was a while ago.
So does the EU now have the economic and military might now to question the USA? They are not the only people who can make nice with China and India.
Russia have much more closer cultural links with the rest of europe.
Should America make the mistake of sanctioning this it may well find itself in the same phariaoh(sp) catergory as Isreal.
Now should anyone have been dealing with Iran on such issues, is another matter.

Plumber, at last count the good ol' USAs economy was something like 2.7 times as large as the rest of the worlds combined, they have the financial and military clout to do what the ferk they like, when the ferk they like. Go to google earth and take a look at places like Nellis AFB and the amount of aircraft on the pans, or take a look at the amount of hardware on show at their marine bases etc.
You only have to look at Gulf war 2, when they rode rough shod over the UN mandates to see that they really couldn't give a sh*t what other countries think.
As much as I despise them I'd rather be with them than against them.
Mind you there's nothing to stop a strong Pm from taking a neutral stance..........except we have a completly spineless to**er.

Jesus that is very scary actually, having been to saudi on many an occasion I fear for the whole world if them monkeys get thier hands on things like that, man oh man..............
