Is that final fantasy online? If so, I did give it a go for a short while. I was put off by the fact that even though I had bought and paid for the game I would continue to have to pay £9 a month just for playing it. Not only that when an update came out the loading times were mental. I do have mates who swear by it though.

By the time I finish work, walk the dogs put the kids to bed etc. a few hours here and there dont hurt, I could probably play FFXII instead on the PS2

You're quite right, but I know myself well enough to realise that I'd become one of them! I like a good RPG (I'm currently getting no sleep while I wade through Fable) but wouldn't be able to stay away if I knew things were still happening when I wasn't playing it.
