Lets have another discussion shall we.

As you all know, the T&S Advances that were submitted in the early days of JPA are now to be recovered in total this month, leaving a lot of personnel with a miserable Xmas.

What I ask my fellow shineys is this, whose fault is it? Is it the clerks not telling the personnel to submit claims to counteract the advance and to budget for the recovery OR the majority of personnel foolishly spending the dosh not thinking that the system will catch up one day.

Let me know your thoughts!!!

If you get an over issue and you spend it then more fool you. It's a no brainer really.

I have heard of one repeat one person who had a four figure over issue written off this year so with those odds why take the chance of blowing it?

Right...I can contain my anger no longer!

You cant say they werent warned... they knew it would happen, despite it not being in place when we released which was a faux pas on the release teams part, everyone (at my unit anyway)were told that that is what would happen!

I got asked the other day how our working lives could be improved....

bottom line...

switch JPA and SAMA back on

im embarrased to be an administrator at the moment, there is no defending this pile of sh!te that they have delivered to us... and they were naive to think it would work with such little testing, its been delievered to us with none of the surrounding things adjusted like checksheets, methods on how to do things, (the DTM is poo)

another thing that has gripped my poo...manpower reductions, do they have any idea how much work this monstrosity now creates for everyone involved and how much longer the processes take, all those high ranking JPA team officers, need to get themselves to a PSF, and look our workload, I come back to work to find none of my workhas been done whilst Im on leave, thus making me more stressed, no one is coping with it, every unit is doing something different, this was designed to bring everyone to a uniformed standard of admin...and its done completely the opposite!

and another thing, the JCRAP are frikkin useless... heres an idea... give HR staff the actors that you have to fix the pay, and get rid of the JCRAP seeing as the useless idiots only refer people back to us anyway, and its problems we cant solve... we are meant to b a leaner air force... so theres an idea get rid of the JCRAP!

last thing...I could go on all day... disturbance allowance... wide open to fraud, what is there to stop an individual claiming DA when they leave their unit and when they get there? NOTHING.... and there appears to be no audit, the questions on the DA screen arent clear to the standard airman (ie those other than clerks) does it say children of school age or over NO IT DOESNT therefore we spend a lot of time rejecting the claims in the first place, wasting time trying to get people to do it properly.

The JSP 752 I think was written by a 14 year old, its the most contradictory document I have ever had the pleasure to read!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Sorry i think it hd to be said. Its about time someone held there hands up and admit that systemand the way its been delivered is poo and get some real people ie the ones who do the job, to get some proper stuff laid down.:PDT_Xtremez_09:

Not a shiney, but I have been stung by this. As I knew the money wasn't mine to keep I left it in my bank account just for this occasion. Could have been timed a bit better though as I wasn't always so disciplined with money and I'm sure it will catch some people out.
