Check out this guys book "The Lads from the Ferry" I bought a "signed"copy direct from Alex himself (contact him, he is always up for an email from ex RAF via his web pages he always replies!) and the book is fantastic. Its based on his life in the RAF in the 50s as a mover and is hilarious. I highly recommend it and am looking forward to reading the follow up book "The Battle of the Ferry" when it arrives.
N.B this is a personal recommendation only I'm not on commission.

Go on try it you know you want to LOL

Here's another good book.

Out of the blue - an airmans tale 1965-2005.

Its written by George Edwards BEM about his time in the RAF Fire Service and beyond into civvie street. There are many familiar names, and the crew room banter hasnt changed over the years.

Its available from www.woodfieldpublishing.com They also produce lots of other ex RAF books.

I see your point, LOL but actually he keeps the trade stuff to a minimum its about his general life in the RAF and stitching up the Navy and Army which quite frankly is better reading (and for those who dont like movers he admits the trades mistakes and takes the p1ss out of them, so should keep you happy)
