Worst: There is so much in contention, but I think "Rain or Shine" by Five Star might just take the prize! Although "Star Trekkin" by The Firm is a close second.

Gotta go with Shuddup a yo face by Joe "I'm an australian really" Dolce as the worst, kept "Vienna" off the top spot, Cnut!

However, being a bit of a Soulman, one of my many "smooth" Disco favourites was Yarborough and Peebles "Dont stop the music", really good for pulling to! Trust me!

Best: It was the golden indy age with the Specials, Jam, J&MC, Wonder Stuff, REM etc etc, but in the end I'm torn between 'Rockin' in the Free World' and 'Temple of Love' but i'll plump for Neil Young.

Worst (without doubt and by a country mile): Birdy Song - The Tweets

A bit off topic if you're bored here's a game you can play with the you tube records bit .
Pick a song and find it on you tube then pick another song and see if you can get to it by only using the related videos link box. You'll be surprised how reminiscent you can get with a load of booze after a dinner party...lol

Do you mean Yarbrough & Peoples, in the charts 1981 and also covered (and in my opinion better) by the SOS Band.

Got to say I agree with your choice of worst single.

.:PDT_Xtremez_09: indeed. I seem to recall finding other things to do down the FI even back in the 80's.

You really wore out a video of this....:PDT_Xtremez_17:

I loved the music in the 80s as there was absurd stuff like this from the Maisonettes...

HgmUwhfoSZs

And this from the Blow Monkeys is the epitome of the 80's (even though Dr Robert does look a bit er, suspect :PDT_Xtremez_09:)...

some corkers there
does anyone have or caan access to a programme that was shown on new years eve 1989 called goodbye to the 80's (or something like that)
It was a 3 hour programme and had loads of brilliant stuff spilit into categories like "changes" and "famous for 3mins 37 seconds"
I have a very bad copy which has degraded over the years so if anyone can help please let me know..
