Old mans medical picked up blood in the urine and have just got back from hospital. I have had a bloody camera up my willy and it feels like i'm ****ing razor blades
Has anyone else been through this and how long does the pain last. Thought about dipping the old fella in cillit bang to deaden the pain..
What annoys me most is they found nothing wrong with the bladder so went through it all for nothing.

To be serious for a moment. Drink plenty of water (you might try a scotch in it a time or two). The stinging does last long, unless they've done something nasty.
On the other hand, rejoice in the pain. At least you're all clrear!

24hrs or so. Have a pint. Been there, done it. Had me nadgers ultrasounded too. Think "mortar and pestle"

Yep also been there and agree with the 24 hours approx bit. What got me was the frezzer gel tube they squezze in first and then they keep saying look at the monitor its in colour as well --- "No thank you just get that thing out of there now" :PDT_Xtremez_25:

Yep. 24 hours is about right. The worst bit for me was the nurse who put the clamp on. Luckily the freeze gel stops you getting a chubby on.

Mine was a male nurse, not that a female would of made any difference, clamp? the one that did me just grabbed hold, but my nether regions had a different idea and dissapeared (not that I had a lot for him to grab hold of in the first place).:PDT_Xtremez_21:

I had the same trouble with a catheter and appologised to the nurses for lack of material to work with (it happened when I lost a lot of blood).
