SNEC Tech to IM???

Just been asked by one of the SNEC's here if I had heard about the voluntary remustering of CIS Tech to IM.

There is an IM job coming up which he is interested in as it is closer to home for him. Can he remuster to get the job or would it not be worth it?

There are opportunities for both Cpl & Sgt CIS Tech to remuster to IM. It wouldnt guarantee him getting the post though.

Mate of mine did this (Tech to IM) on the promise of a certain job, surprise, surprise he didn't get the job he wanted and ended up in a RAF Mail post.

I wouldn't worry overly much anyway. A team is being set up to look into the whole TG4 fcuk up and see what can be done to put it right.
