So being that time of year once again, I thought I'd save myself some valuable time and avoid meandering around towns like a lost ugly duckling looking for its flock and do the majority of my Christmas shopping via the mighty interwebbyhighwayofjoy.

The trouble is though, there are so many different sites to choose from. What sort of gift for what person, friend or relative, how much to spend.

So I thought why not start a thread where people can put links to sites that they have found for their pressie huntings?

Preferrably they'll be sites that you have used and found to be worthy of mention.

Here are some from me to start with..........

I want one of those (http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/index.jsp) You can shop by price if you have in mind a price limit.
Gadget shop (http://www.gadgetshop.com/gadgetshop/index.jsp) Always a fave!
Gift Inspirations (http://www.giftinspiration.com/) You can allsorts on this one and it also does the selection by price, occasion, man/woman/kid etc. etc.

Anything that can keep us men out the shops at this time of the year is a valuable commodity indeed!

It's not that time of year yet, there's over a month till Christmas Eve when I will start thinking about buying pressies.

Same here MingMong, it also guarantees my Christmas eve drink in Cardiff with my cousin. Ah, the faces of the desperate. Fruitlessly charging around shops full of empty shelves, desperately trying to find a present for their loved ones/secretaries that doesn't yell "last minute" when it's opened. :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Ooh, you don't think mine yell that do you ? :PDT_Xtremez_35: :PDT_Xtremez_31:

Call me Scrooge if you want but I don't buy any Christmas presents at all and expect none in return.
I buy myself something I really want and ask my relatives to do the same.

Thats half the point of the post. To enable us to do the shopping without having to waste vauable drinking time bustling round the crowded shopping centres. :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Gadget Shop looks like online only, I cant see anywhere on the site detailing stores.

I won't buy from "I want one of those" after the faff I had with them last year. Basically, I ordered 3 things. 2 were in stock but one wasn't so they held the order until the last item was ready. When it was in, one of the other 2 was out of stock and - as a Christmas only gizzit - was not going to be back in. So they eventually sent 2 of the 3 in time for me to receive them at New Year, some 6 weeks after I placed the original order. Cue last minute panic buying.

Thanks mate, thats exactly the type of info I was hoping people would post.
I personally hate having to go into a town and shop for christmas pressies. I hate it when its busy and full of rude ignorant fcukers. Last year I did most of my christmas shopping on the net and all was pretty good!
I bought MrsMasher some stuff from Boots and even had the option of having it gift wrapped, which I obviously took up! Trouble is that the gift wrapping was just a big box that they lashed the gifts into. I emailed a complaint to them and they refunded the postage and cost of gift wrapping and charged her Boots card with some free points.
I also used The Slipper Store (http://www.slipperstore.co.uk/), after all, whats Christmas without some new slippers?!!
They were very good. The items were packed well, of good quality and were despatched quickly.
There's always Play.com (www.play.com)as well. Free postage and quick delivery as well as good prices. They also do gadgets and funny Tshirts.

Are ones I've used other than ones mentioned above, I love Iwantoneofthose.com, you can have the option to get things sent as they come in or as a whole despatch in one go, well I have previously.

I just got some stuff from here:
PassionForPerfume (http://www.passionforperfume.co.uk/index.php)
A rather handy site, it tells you what the fragrance is supposed to smell of and also what others have a smell of a similar ilk!!
They'll wrap it for you as well.
I found a particular fragrance for MrsMasher that I couldnt find in the high street. Bobby dazzler!!:PDT_Xtremez_31:

I used the Marks and Sparks website tinterweb thingy to order a few peoples pressies this year. Free postage on orders over 30 quid, huge selection and you can browse in price ranges/occassions/gifts for him or her ect ect. And being Marks and Sparks you can guarantee the stuff will be there when you asked for it to be.
