Indicative of today's society I'm afraid, although seing as it is in the Mail, I'm surprised they didn't manage to spin immigrants and rising house prices into it for effect...

The country is getting fcking ridiculous!
Its gone H&S fcking mad!!
When I think of the conditions the guys in WWI and WWII fought in, it makes me sick that now the country can't give them the respect they are due and get off their ar$es and sort out the H&S issues!!!
Whilst I agree its all PC madness yet again, I think some shoddy journalism is in play.
The 'Safer Parks Teams' that the article referes too only work within London's Royal Parks. The Borough of Sutton has no Royal Parks!.

It reads like they can not use the safer parks teams to fire the canons under H & S guide lines.
So very simple solution to this, one quick phone call to the Royal Artillery and ask them to man the guns, Iam sure you would get more than a few people happy to do it.
Now, I realise I'm starting a personal trend with saying this, but...
THIS REALLY GRITS MY FAECES!
This PC/H+S brigade has taken it one step too far! So we're not allowed to show our mark of respect for the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives to defend our rights, including the right to complain about cannons going off on Remembrance Sunday. ::/:

That's better.
