It's where you go to letch at fit birds!
Normally anything from metallica etc is good for the gym, either that or scissor sisters.

Depends on the mood, when on the treadmill I like a bit of Drum and Bass, but then it's not to everyones liking (including Mrs_M)
Usually though it's a mix I pre-prepared. I have a few now ::D:
Motorcycle Emptiness - The Manics
Butterfly - Crazy Town
Don't fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
Small Time Boy - Bronski Beat (before you start, its got a good pounding back beat that helps you pace on the running machine)
No Rain - Blind Melon
Any tune by Ocean Colour Scene

Metallica is always good, preferably from the Black Album, Load or Reload (for the gym anyway) especially Sad But True, The God That Failed and Ronnie.
Rammstein are always good for the gym too.
Basically, anything heavy thats not too fast. I'm a fatty after all and working out to speed metal would kill me!
If I'm feeling brave I'll put on Fat of the Land and suffer for a couple of days afterwards.
Eye of the tiger by survivor must be up there purely for its cheese factor, next time you hear it in the gym take a moment to watch everybody's reaction.

I quite like Chopin lullabies

Surely thats more accurate? Although I will agree that there are a few fit birds in my gym, there are also some that should possibly consider putting clothes ON when they come in...... :PDT_Xtremez_42:

The Eric Prydz (sp?) version of 'Call on me' was/is fantastic! I was in the gym in the Falklands when i first saw it. Every bloke (and some of the birds!) in there just stopped and stared at the screens! Fan-bloody-tastic!

My current iPod gym selection is:
Blood Sugar - Pendulum
Encore un Fois - Sash
Perfect(Exceeder) - Mason vs Princess Superstar
Voodoo People (Pendulum remix) - Prodigy
Sandstorm - Darude
No limit - 2unlimited
Operation Blade - Public Domain
Knights of Cydonia - Muse
In A Gadda Da Vida - High Contrast
Slam - Pendulum
Believe it or not, I am prone to a bit of Pendulum! Knights of Cydonia is brilliant for the last 6 minutes of a run.
My mp3 is set to random so I get a multitude of tracks put through when I'm in the gym, not really too fussy about what I listen to as long as its got a good beat to move to.
Was well impressed last night, did the 2.4km in 6.30 minutes!!!!

at the moment I seem to set my Ipod to the following when down the gym:
Snow Patrol: "Chasing Cars" "open your eyes" "run" "spitting games" and "chocolate"
MCR "welcome to the black parade"
Fall Out Boy "dance dance" (perfect BPM for running) (in fact the entire Under the cork tree album is perfect for the gym)
Arctic Monkeys - Most of "Whatever you say I am..."
But the album I have played the most over the past year when working on my adonis-like physique is by The Kalxons. Superb.

Thought I'd drop my last post in here. Seems as good a place as any.
STORM - IT'S TIME TO BURN.
Quality tune for one of those bicep blasts when you're already fecked and want to get a major pump going with some small weights.
Just remembered that I've got a couple of half hour mixes on mine from monobrow which are pretty good to run to.
(Off Topic Anyone got any ideas how to motivate and push yourself when running outside rather than on a treadmill? As I'm crap at it Off Topic )

The Pendulum Remix of Voodoo People is something else! But surprised to see no Shy FX in there.
