I think I'm in the right forum, I also know that I'll probably get some really random comments for this one but hey.

I used to shoot when I was younger and have wanted to take it up again for some time (could probably even use the same bow that I have back at my parents). Anyway I've been told that I could probably start doing it again once I get in, can anyone tell me (if they know) the best postings for this or just the area of the country if it makes a difference.

Also wondering if anyone on here currently shoots or knows someone who does.

Not sure about the service stuff but Marhams local rag always has stuff about the local bowmen.

I think you will find that quite alot of camps have an archery club, I know Odiham did when I was there, but if the camp you go to doesnt have one then start one major brownie points too!!!:PDT_Xtremez_30:

The club's still going in Lossie, I shoot with them every so often (hang-over dependant), in the winter, like most clubs, they shoot indoors and in the summer the butts are on the left of the camp entrance. I'm guessing that it's a similar set up at most camps.
Reminds me, must get some more fletching done (and yes, the "l" is in the right place!)

Just up the A141 from Wyton is a little village called Wimblington. They have an archery club. Seen them out on the weekends .

I used to work with a chief @ Benson who ran their archery club. He was mad on it and went to a few competitions.

He's still there so I'd guess the club is still running.

Used to shoot up until a few years ago. Mrs K made me give up as she thought I was getting dangerous. Have a look at this as it may help as well. PAAS (http://www.perarduaarchery.org/)
