Can anyone confirm the rumour that someone is taking the RAF to court over the unfairness that techies have two extra ranks to achieve compared to no tech trades, therefore making it harder to reach Cpl (as a JT) and even harder to reach FS by the end of LOS 30?

No but it makes sense and if chiefs get Flt Sgt pensions then surely Cpls should get Sgt pensions after having JT put in the way. It would also redress the pay 2000 ish Scam and the balancing of pay between trained personnel and the bean heaters in the mess. :PDT_Xtremez_30:
