Well it finally happened,

I, at least, will miss your eclectic style in the international arena.

A fine ref, always good humoured and laughing and respected by the players.

He came to a 'meet the players evening' at Glaws a few years ago, sat down in front of about 200, took off his coat, to show he was wearing a Bath shirt.

All taken in good humour I can assure you.

A true ledgend within the refereeing world. He was very well respected at all levels of the game by players, coaches and, dare I day it.........even the Shed!!! He will continue in the Premiership though so he is not going too far from our screens.


He is also the type of person that if he is not refereeing in the GP on a weekend, he will go out and referee your local club 2nd XV in the Bristol/Bath area. He referees because he enjoys it....and we enjoy watching him....

A great bloke to be around too, genuine and with a great sense if humour.
